Blessed

I just have to write about my experience today....
Today I had to make up a class that I missed when Millie and Jacob were here.  I decided to let my students ask me any question that they wanted to.  I was a little nervous about doing that because sometimes I not very good with words and I don’t think I’m very smart when it comes to politics and things like that.  But I had a student ask me what religion I was.  I wasn’t sure how to answer her.  I told her I was Christian and that I was a Mormon and that I had agreed when I came here to not talk about my religion to the Chinese citizens.  She totally understood. Later tonight, she WeChatted me and told me that she is not Christian but sometimes she believes in God. She sent me a Christian type song and said she really liked the song.  I honestly just wanted to cry—and maybe I did.  I wished so badly that I could talk to her about Jesus Christ.  That I could tell her who she is and where she came from and where she is going.  That I could tell her how many beautiful things we can have when we accept the Savior in our lives.  There is so much I wish I could say....but I can't.  I am so grateful that I have the gospel of Jesus Christ in my life.  I am so grateful that I live in a country where I can worship how I want and I don’t need to be afraid to talk about it.  I hope that someday she and so many of my students will get an opportunity to hear the gospel and have the opportunity to accept it and to worship how they want.   I am so blessed.
