The Webbs Visit

Millie and Jacob came to China.  On their way, they made a stop in Tokyo so they could go to Disneyland.  It just happened on the day they were planning to go, we weren't having classes because the school was having a sports day.  So what other choice did we have but to join them in Tokyo and experience Disneyland with them.  They were planning on staying only one day in Japan before heading on to Hong Kong and catching a day at Disneyland there.  Can you tell they are HUGE Disney fans?  Well, we've been to Hong Kong Disney so we decided to spend another day in Tokyo and then spend 2 days in Seoul Korea.  Why not see as much as you can while you have the chance.  So that's exactly what we did.  After Millie and Jacob went to Hong Kong, they took a train to Guilin and Yangshuo to see the Li River and the "Gum Drop" Mountains.  After 4 days there, they came to Xi'an and spent 5 days with us.  Their last stop was none other but Disneyland in Shanghai.  Here are some pictures.  Hopefully I won't do an overload of photos but it's sooooo hard to just pick a few.  Besides, this is a great way to record my history.  I'm just letting all of you have a glimpse into my journal.

Breakfast at an AMAZING bakery on our way to Disneyland.  It's a good thing there isn't one of these by where we live.
The Disney Hotel. I'd love to stay here please.  :)
The Entrance.  Here we come!
Main Street was very different from other Disney Parks.  We loved it though.
Ready for the adventures to begin!

 Pretty amazing castle.
 Splash Mountain

You have to go on Small World.  It was a little different than California--just have more of the new characters throughout it. Also, very bright and colorful.
They are celebrating their 35th anniversary.
 Inside the castle.
You have to take an ice cream break.

More castle shots.
Penny Arcade.  LOL.
The electric parade was pretty amazing.

If you look carefully you can see Jacob and Millie at the feet of this Buddha! 😂

Everyone says you must eat hot pot while in Chengdu....so we did.

Love the pandas!
 This does not look comfortable!
Kim's favorite noodle soup.  Unfortunately they have since gone out of business.  😢

Rhonda's favorite noodles!  So much flavor.
Millie and Jacob got to visit our classrooms.  The students had a great time asking them ALL KINDS of questions.  I think Millie and Jacob liked it as well.
Terra Cotta Warriors NEVER gets old.  I think this was our 4th time to visit it.

When in China, you must have a foot massage.
Which includes a head, back, neck and arm massage as well. This part is amazing.
Scraping the calluses of his feet.
Last stop and visit was to this park where you can ALWAYS find people dancing.  Somehow we convinced Millie to join in!

Taking a ride in a paddle boat.  It was so pretty on this lake.

They were the last of our visitors.  We LOVED having them here. We had so much fun.
